What to expect:
A physician will assess you and your baby for any breastfeeding or feeding concerns. Nursing or feeding of the baby will be observed. Bringing baby so they are a bit hungry will help us assess feeding.
Your first appointment will take approximately 1 hour. Follow up appointments are scheduled as necessary.
What to bring:
- Alberta Health Cards for you and baby
- spare diapers, wipes
- a blanket for your baby, spare clothes for baby
- If you are using any supplement, bring expressed breast milk, donor milk or infant formula and your feeding method (bottle, SNS etc)
- Your breast pump and parts if you have any concerns with pumping
Parking at our NE location:
Well Fed Clinic East is located on the main floor of the Sunridge Professional Centre. Please ensure that you pay for parking prior to your appointment. You can pay for parking either at one of the pay stations located in the main parking lot (on the west side of the building near the entrance) or using the parking app Indigo.
Parking at our NW location:
Well Fed Clinic West is now located on the 3rd floor of the Market Mall Professional Building. The parking is free.
Public Transit Information:
Both our clinics are easily accessible by public transit (bus and c-train). Please refer to the Calgary Transit website for details.
